However, the world also continues to grapple with extreme weather events, with 2024 starting out as the hottest year ever recorded and greenhouse gas emissions not really coming down. We’re simply not going fast enough – yet. That’s why Climate Week NYC is returning with an urgent message: It’s Time. Every September, Climate Group organizes Climate Week NYC, gathering tens of thousands of people to drive climate action.
