How can buildings regenerate nature?

Summit 23 | Ellen MacArthur Foundation – How can we design our built environment to be regenerative, rather than extractive? Sean Quinn, Director of Regenerative Design at HOK architects, joins the Foundation’s Executive Lead, Network, Joe Murphy, to discuss examples. Regenerative design leverages above sustainability – to engineer systems in the built environment that enhance and mimic how nature works. Ensuring, for example, that water going into a watershed from a building is filtered, as a forest filtration system works, replenishing aquifers and enhancing habitats.
