The New York Times Climate Hub – The transition to a net-zero economy will require shifts across all aspects of the economy and from all actors. Crucially, it will also require a materials transition; a transformation in the way that we make and use things. But key questions remain. How can this transition be financed? What type of leadership will be required to drive the transition? And how can we prioritize solutions that are fit for purpose, for the planet and people, and create a just transition that centers on equality and fairness?
